The Source is a craft medical cannabis company located in Rogers, Arkansas. Founded in August 2019, we have blazed new trails and grown to be much more than a dispensary. Let us be blunt though, our state-of-the-art facility houses a boutique grow facility, lab, and kitchen. Beyond production, we also pride ourselves on offering quality customer service on our dispensary sales floor, in reception, and at our lifestyle store, located all in the same building.  

A CannAssociate?

A good question. Thank you for asking. We always set the goal of “excellence” and we hope to grow our team with that core value in mind. A CannAssociate is an entry-level position, this person will be cross-trained on a diversity of tasks - everything from customer-facing service responsibilities to cultivation and production assistance, such as the harvest, trimming, and packaging of cannabis plants.  

While a CannAssociate is an entry-level position, all applicants must be explicitly aspirational about growing into a budtender role or a more specialized production role. We are looking for leaders, not seeds or stems!  

How We Roll:

Our team members have a very special place in the Natural State because that’s exactly what we want to do. We want to show our customers what the benefits of cannabis are and how to administer them be they tinctures, flower, cartridges, edibles, concentrates, or topicals. We want our customers to leave our dispensary 100% confident that they are going to make The Source their dispensary of choice. In order to do so, we’re looking for someone who has the following profiles:

• Maintains a positive attitude and an ability to play nice with others in a team environment.
• Remains up-to-date on industry trends and state regulations regarding cannabis consumption.
• Must display high technological literacy. 
• Supports managers, key stakeholders, and other consultants, as needed.
• Previous experience in cannabis industry preferred.
• Performs other duties as needed.  

What Lights Our Fire:

We don’t want to bowl you over with expectations, but you’ll need the following to be considered and ideal candidate for our team:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service job. 
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Professional and positive attitude and demanor even under pressure.
• Is an excellent listener and effective communicator. 
• Must be able to display an exceptional knowledge of cannabis. 
• Has a charismatic and forgiving personality. 
• Has a thirst for knowledge and remain teachable. 
• Is a good team player. 
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends. 
• Spanish proficiency or fluency is strongly preferred. 

A Few Extra Nugs of Responsibility:

Due to state regulations, applicants for this position must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check. Certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state medical marijuana licensing regulations.

Applicants must also be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Our team members work on their feet anywhere from 6-10 hours a day and, at times, may be dabbed to concentrate their efforts on checking patient credentials at the front door prior to entry into the dispensary.

Not to Puff Our Chests But...

If you’re really into green businesses, we’d like you to know that we’ve expanded our mission to include a firm commitment to environmental sustainability. We are constantly seeking out new partnerships and new ideas for reducing our carbon footprint now and into the future. We’re installing new, eco-friendly, lighting inside our facility. We’re working on a solution for recycling our cannabis containers, and we’re working towards going as paperless as possible in our workspace. From container labels to receipts to our line of merchandise...we want to make sure we are doing our part as a service provider to offer our patients the best possible experience all the while being as responsible as possible for serving as stewards of our patients, our environment, and our global community.
