Duties
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed.
- Knowledge of ceramics and ability to assist customers with their ceramic experience.
- Clean up after customers when they are done glazing their ceramics ad resetting tables.
- Be willing to load and run the kiln
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information or demonstrations when needed.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including counting cash drawers, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented to attract customer interest.ñ
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail in by setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Kiln experience a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for handling transactions confidently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.73 - $18.00 per hour
