- Manage daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, coordinating shifts, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety management.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards across kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Foster a positive hospitality environment by promoting teamwork, managing customer inquiries or complaints effectively, and maintaining high service standards.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining experience for guests.
- Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable, including food preparation and staffing logistics.
- Lead by example in supervising kitchen operations, managing culinary teams, and maintaining high-quality food production.
Experience
- Proven management experience within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Extensive background in food industry roles such as food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management with a strong understanding of culinary processes.
- Demonstrated success in supervising hospitality teams with skills in team management and leadership development.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and financial reconciliation is essential.
- Prior experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing staff, training team members, and managing customer relations.
- Knowledge of catering operations or banquet services is a plus; hotel or hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of service excellence.
