Position Summary
The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service while creating a positive dining experience for every guest. Servers should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner.
- Check on guests throughout their meal and respond promptly to requests.
- Process payments accurately.
- Follow all alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and side work.
- Assist with running food, bussing, resetting tables, and other team duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
- Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must meet applicable age and licensing requirements for alcohol service.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 pound
