Content Creator & Videographer

About the Role
We’re seeking creative, motivated, and visually driven Content Creators & Videographers to capture engaging photo and video content for brands and businesses throughout New York City.
This role is ideal for film students, aspiring filmmakers, videographers, and creative individuals looking to gain hands-on experience working on real-world brand projects while building their portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Film high-quality video content for brands, businesses, and social media campaigns.
- Capture short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other digital platforms.
- Film products, food, lifestyle experiences, businesses, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Apply strong camera composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Collaborate with the creative team to execute content concepts and creative briefs.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and creative filming techniques.
- Organize and deliver footage according to project deadlines.
- Assist with video editing when required by the project.
Qualifications
- Currently studying film, filmmaking, cinematography, media production, photography, or a related field, or recently graduated.
- Strong interest in videography, filmmaking, and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting, framing, and shooting techniques.
- Experience filming content using a professional camera or smartphone.
- Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and follow creative direction.
- A portfolio, demo reel, or examples of previous work are preferred.
Film majors, film students, and aspiring filmmakers are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: Starting at $25-$50 hr
- Location: On-site filming assignments throughout New York City.
- Schedule: Flexible, project-based hours.
- Work arrangement: Part-time or freelance, depending on the engagement and applicable worker classification.
- Experience: Opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating content for brands and businesses.
