Position: Soap Artisan
Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service, guiding patrons through the mesmerizing art of soap-making and customization.
- Create an environment of cleanliness that fosters creativity in the soap-making process
- Perform cashier duties and reply to messages from excited customers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of The Soap Factory during downtimes by suggesting ideas and actively participating in tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and reorganization.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a heart that beats for customer happiness..
- Be the soap superhero our Factory deserves - proactive and self-motivated with a desire to make The Soap Factory experience meaningful and memorable.
- Desire to teach and inspire! From little soap apprentices to seasoned sudsmasters, be able to embrace the art of sharing your soap wisdom.
- Juggle like a soap maestro – stay organized, especially when the bubbles rise during peak hours. Be able to manage large groups with ease.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Wage: $10-12/hour plus possible tips
Schedule:
We’re looking for an employee available for ALL of the following shifts (ideally):
- Wednesday Nov 26 6-10pm
- Saturday Nov 29 11am-2pm
- Saturday Nov 29 5-10pm
- Wednesday Dec 17 6-10pm
- Saturday Dec 27 5-10pm
- Thursday Jan 1 3-5:30pm
- Thursday Jan 1 6-10pm
- Saturday Jan 3 5-10pm
Regular weekly shifts will be available starting in January.
