The Smoke Shop BBQ Company, 4x winner of “Boston Best BBQ” by Boston Magazine, with locations across the Boston area, is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager.
A kitchen staff member is responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, ensuring food safety standards are met, and generally supporting the overall operations of The Smoke Shop BBQ kitchen by performing tasks like chopping vegetables, washing dishes, stocking ingredients, and following instructions from Kitchen Manager to produce quality dishes in a timely manner.
Schedule: Full-Time, varying schedule, available on nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
· Experience in high-volume restaurant.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand for the entirety of an 8-hour shift
- Lift and transport items in excess of 50 lbs
- Frequently kneel, bend over, lift items above head, work in small or cramped spaces.
- Work in areas of high or low temperatures.
- Work quickly and safely in stressful circumstances.
