The Pediatric Dentist Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns, young children and adolescents
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and individual medical history
- Fabricate space maintainers designed for patients
- Treat primary and secondary teeth and constructs and places bridges, dentures, and obturating appliances suitable for growing arches
- Provides preventive services through use of fluorides and sealants
- Recommend regular hygiene appointments for recurring patients
- Respond to dental emergencies
- Counsel and advises patients and family on growth and development dental problems of patient
- MINIMUM of 2 years of Clinical Experience, post-residency
- DDS or DMD from an accredited university
- Active NY license
- Active/in process DEA license
- Medicaid provider # preferred
- Ethical patient-centric provider
