Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and other beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Wash, peel, cut, and portion fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
- Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items.
- Recommend beverages and explain ingredients when requested.
- Operate juicers, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely.
- Process customer payments using approved point-of-sale systems.
- Package beverages for dine-in, takeaway, and pickup orders.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and follow proper food storage procedures.
- Restock fruits, vegetables, cups, lids, straws, and other supplies.
- Maintain clean and organized preparation counters and service areas.
- Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and food preparation surfaces.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory checks and report supply shortages to supervisors.
- Support opening, closing, and general beverage service duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous juice bar, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math and payment-handling abilities.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
