We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the Lightspeed POS system for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods, particularly in banquet settings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, with a solid understanding of hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus, enhancing the beverage offerings available to guests.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for patrons.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of banquet service practices is beneficial for catering events.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
