What are the responsibilities and job description for the Esthetics Instructor - Part Time position at The Skin Institute of Atlanta - Esthetics School?
The Skin Institute of Atlanta is currently seeking Part-Time Licensed Esthetics Instructors with diverse skincare experiences to deliver lecture review and practical lessons to our esthetics students. Candidates must be experienced in the esthetics industry, passionate about skincare, and committed to providing high-quality education. Proven experience in both real-world spa settings and educational settings is required for the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and utilize approved daily lesson plans and curriculum.
- Deliver high quality instruction daily that includes but is not limited to, demonstrations, practical applications, testing, skills assessments, and review classes in theory, business, and advanced topics.
- Conduct monthly academic reviews on student academic progress, attendance, and state board credits.
- Stay current with industry trends and provide students with valuable resources and information.
- Ensure students adhere to the institute's policies and procedures throughout the program and model professionalism and best practices for students.
- Adhere to the GA State Board of Cosmetology and Barber’s Infection Control Procedures.
Qualifications
Must have:
- An active GA Esthetics License
- An active GA Esthetics Instructor License
- A passion for skin care, educating, learning, and helping others
- Excellent facilitation and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least 1 year of Esthetics Instructor experience
- At least 3 years of diverse skin care experience as an esthetician in a professional setting working with a variety of skin types, conditions, and modalities
