About Us

The Skin Center, a leading medical spa specializing in aesthetic medicine, injectables, laser treatments, and advanced skincare. Our providers deliver exceptional patient outcomes, and our Medical Assistants (MAs) play a critical role in supporting an efficient, seamless, and elevated patient experience.

We are expanding our clinical support team and seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to work directly alongside our aesthetic nurses and providers.

Position Overview

The Medical Assistant supports the provider by managing all non-clinical and pre-clinical aspects of the patient visit. This role is essential to ensuring efficient patient flow, smooth room turnover, clinical readiness, and an exceptional patient experience.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on patient-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume medical spa environment and enjoys supporting both patients and providers.

Qualifications

Required

1 year experience as a Medical Assistant OR experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, healthcare, or spa clinical support

Strong patient service skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Comfort working with technology and EMR systems

Professional, polished presentation

Preferred

Prior experience in medical aesthetics (injectables, lasers, skincare)

Photography experience (before/after images)

Experience working directly with clinical providers

Familiarity with aesthetic products, skincare brands, and services

Soft skills

Warm, friendly, and patient-centric

Highly organized and dependable

Strong multitasking and prioritization

Solution-oriented and proactive

Quick learner with a desire to grow within the aesthetics industry

Work Environment

Medical spa treatment rooms, lasers, and clinical equipment

Fast-paced schedule with high patient volume

Significant interaction with patients, providers, front office, and leadership

Standing, walking, and light lifting required

Schedule

Part Time or Full Time

Includes some evenings and Saturdays depending on location schedule

Flexibility required based on provider schedules and patient volume
