Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and responsible Skateboard & Roller Skating Instructor to join our team! As an instructor, you will teach students about skateboard and roller skating safety, techniques, and skills using our approved curriculum. Our program focuses on fostering confidence, resilience, and character development in a fun and structured environment.
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and responsible Skateboard & Roller Skating Instructor to join our team! As an instructor, you will teach students about skateboard and roller skating safety, techniques, and skills using our approved curriculum. Our program focuses on fostering confidence, resilience, and character development in a fun and structured environment.
While our instructors are passionate about skating, they do not physically skateboard or roller skate while teaching. Instead, they provide hands-on guidance and verbal instruction to ensure a safe and effective learning experience.
In addition to instructing, this role includes supervisory responsibilities, such as:
- Ensuring the safety of all classes and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Training and supporting staff to follow our curriculum and safety guidelines.
- Filling in for staff call-offs as needed to ensure smooth program operation.
The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and great with kids, while also being organized, dependable, and capable of leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skateboard or roller skate instruction based on the approved curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Supervise classes to maintain safety, order, and a positive experience for all students.
- Train and support staff to follow curriculum guidelines and safety procedures.
- Step in for absent instructors as needed to ensure class continuity.
- Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns to management and complete required documentation promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Willingness to receive training
Salary : $19 - $25
