We are seeking a Bartender to support the successful execution of weddings and large-scale events by delivering exceptional bar service, assisting with setup and breakdown, and creating a welcoming guest experience. This role requires professionalism, strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.

What This Role Looks Like Day to Day
This is a part-time/seasonal role with the opportunity to stay on the team for upcoming seasons. Typical hours can range from 6-20 hours a week, mostly from June to October.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Cultivate pleasant interactions with guests, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Accurately mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customer's identification (ID) and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and MAST regulations
- Assist catering team if necessary
- Ability to work long shifts in all weather conditions
Qualifications and Skills
- Must bring your own wine key and pick up our bartending gear from the kitchen
- Help break down bar and return bar items to prep kitchen
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
- Ability to lift ice buckets and other heavy catering items (50 pounds)
Scheduling
- Must be available during weekends throughout peak season June-October, occasional weekday events may occur
- Most events will be scheduled months in advance, but will occasionally be added on shorter notice
- Team schedules will be sent 2 weeks in advance
- Event scheduling requires some last-minute adjustments, so must be flexible
