We are a small business and outgoing personality is important. So is reliability. For this position it requires both afternoon and weekends. you will need to have both Saturday & Sunday availability. A typical shift is 2:30-8:30PM or 3-3:30-9PM. Looking for 1-3 people depending on availability. Please don't apply if you don't have both Saturday & Sunday availability and at least two week day nights availability.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly, offering friendly assistance and product recommendations to enhance their experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail transactions, including cash handling and cash register operations
- Prepare and serve beverages at the bar, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, boosting sales through upselling techniques
- Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and managing inventory counts
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including processing returns and exchanges with proper cash drawer handling
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
- Assist other team members
- Assist in our DIY space
- Learn to do permanent jewelry

- Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and grocery store operations will help you excel in this role

Pay: $16.50 - $35.00 per hour
