A growing thin gauge medical device packaging thermoformer is looking for a Design Engineer. The team is one of several business units in a much larger organization, effectively functioning as a its own business with nimbleness, flatness, a collaborative environment, and a great bunch of people... with the resources that comes their parent company.
Working as a key member of a small team of Design Engineers, this is not a desk job, focused solely on part design behind a screen. You will work with customers for intake conversations, part reviews, trials runs, and more; work cross-functionally with tooling, engineering, and manufacturing; and spend time on floor to ensure manufacturability.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in a technical field
- Must have at least 5 years of thermoformed packaging design
- Must have at least 5 years working in a highly regulated environment (pharma or medical device)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across a variety of internal and external teams
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
