What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baking Assistant position at The Siegel Group?
Our Baking Assistants assist with separating product to prepare for display and packing finished product on trays or in boxes for store delivery, custom events, and large sale orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Inspect all products and remove misshapen/imperfect doughnuts and baked goods.
- Separate doughnuts for delivery to the correct stores or for custom orders.
- Complete reports for outgoing orders
- Help load delivery vehicles for transport
- Follow portioning controls and par levels
- Stock and rotate speed racks
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Performs additional tasks as requested by Management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- No experience required- will train the right candidate.
- Proficiency with counting, reading, and writing required.
- Must have Clark County Health Card
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Finishers can expect to work an 8 hour shift on average, including weekends and holidays. Our stores are 24/7!
