The Shubert Organization is America’s oldest professional theatre company and the largest theatre owner on Broadway. JOB TITLE: Office Assistant, Executive Office
SALARY: $52,000 - $62,000 per year depending upon skills and experience.
START DATE: June 15, 2026
SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm, with overtime as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job functions/responsibilities to include, but not be limited to:
- Assist Executive Administrative Staff with general office duties as assigned: photocopying, filing, scanning, etc.
- Provide daily coverage for Executive Receptionist as required.
- Prepare opening night congratulatory notes throughout the season.
- Administer Shubert’s charitable donations.
- Set-up and clean-up of conference room for executive meetings.
- Perform various clerical tasks, such as distribute the mail, and run general errands.
- Maintain office supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- College degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Knowledge of commercial theatre industry preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an office performing administrative/clerical tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented nature.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams etc.).
