Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting brewers in the brewing process, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, hop additions, and yeast handling.
- Cleaning and sanitizing brewing equipment, tanks, and fermentation vessels.
- Monitoring and documenting fermentation and brewing parameters.
- Participating in cellar operations, such as transferring, filtering, and carbonating beer.
- Assisting with packaging operations, including canning, bottling, and kegging.
- Performing quality control tests and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting in recipe development and experimental brewing projects.
- Assisting with general brewery maintenance and cleanliness.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborating with the brewing team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a brewing environment is required.
- Passion for craft beer and a desire to learn the art and science of brewing.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 55 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
