Job Summary
As a Health and Wellness Sales Associate, you’ll help customers find products that support their health and wellness goals. You’ll deliver attentive customer service, share product information, and keep the sales floor organized and ready for customers. Your impact: Clear guidance and a welcoming shopping experience to help customers make informed product choices.
Duties
- Assist customers, answer questions, and demonstrate products while sharing accurate product knowledge.
- Process retail sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, cash register, and payment methods; handle cash and balance the cash drawer according to store procedures.
- Support sales through thoughtful upselling and product recommendations.
- Stock shelves, maintain merchandising displays, and keep products organized.
- Provide courteous phone service and, when assigned, help supervise daily store activities.
Skills
- Essential: Have a will to help people.
- Essential: Customer service, communication skills, basic math, cashiering, cash handling, cash drawer handling, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions.
- Essential: Comfort using POS systems and applying retail math in sales and checkout tasks.
- Essential: Ability to learn and communicate retail store product knowledge and maintain attractive merchandising.
- Preferred: Retail sales, grocery store experience, product demos, upselling, stocking, or supervising experience.
