Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in school psychology and will be responsible for supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Duties
Provides psychological, behavioral and developmental evaluations and clinical treatment programs for all assigned students.
Experience
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
- New York State certification as a School Psychologist.
- ust have experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism. Knowledge of positive behavioral supports, experience conducting functional behavioral assessments and developing behavioral support plans is a requirement.
- Knowledge of IEP processes and school psychology practices is a plus.
