Seasonal Nursery & Plant Sales Associate
The Shed Store Hattiesburg
The Shed Store Hattiesburg is expanding into seasonal plants and nursery sales — starting with mums and rotating through seasonal favorites throughout the year. We're looking for someone with a green thumb and retail sense to help us build this out and keep it thriving.
This is a hands-on role — you'll be caring for plants, helping customers pick the right ones, and keeping our seasonal displays looking great.
What You'll Do
- Water, feed, and care for mums and other seasonal plants to keep them healthy and sale-ready
- Set up eye-catching displays that draw customers in
- Help customers choose plants and answer basic care questions
- Track inventory and let us know when it's time to reorder or rotate stock
- Keep the plant area clean, organized, and looking good
- Watch for pests or problems early and flag them before they spread
What We're Looking For
- Some experience with plants, gardening, or nursery/greenhouse work (professional or personal — a serious home gardener with the right attitude counts)
- Comfortable working outdoors in Mississippi weather
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in how things look
- Friendly with customers and able to give simple plant care advice
- Able to lift and move plants, bags of soil, and supplies
Bonus If You Have
- Retail or sales experience
- Knowledge of irrigation basics
- Experience with seasonal rotations (mums in fall, other plants through the year)

Pay: Up to $35,500.00 per year
