Middle School Classroom Assistant

MS Classroom Assistant 2026-2027 Job Description 35 hours/week Classroom Assistant Job Summary The Classroom Assistant is responsible for providing support to teachers and students in the middle school. This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment. The Classroom Assistant helps create a positive and productive learning environment for students by providing instructional support. Responsibilities include: -Be present in classes to support teachers and students with an understanding of the curriculum -Help enforce school and classroom rules to guide appropriate social and behavioral choices -Monitor students during transitions, community meetings, lunch, recess, homework club and school field trips -Check on the student's understanding of assignments -Shift support based on the needs of students Communicate regularly as needed with: Teachers, Academic & Student Support Team Members -Email correspondence -In-person meetings This position reports to the Director of the Middle School and is an hourly position.

Salary : $22 - $26
