Job Responsibilities:
1. Training & Professional Development
- Take part in a thorough training program designed to teach the core principles, techniques, and intervention strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Full-time team members may qualify to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The Shafer Center covers the cost of training, hands-on experience, and credentialing needed to earn your RBT certification.
- Learn how to implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.

2. Direct Student Support
- Work one-on-one with students in a school-based setting, providing support in areas such as academics, daily living skills (e.g., feeding, dressing, toileting as needed), behavior management, communication, sensory integration, and the development of play and social skills.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage progress and help students achieve their developmental and behavioral goals.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is required for consideration, with official college transcripts as proof of completion. We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds who are enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children.
