Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, ensuring they feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.
• Manage POS systems to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain sales records.
• Experience with Oregon Lottery POS and VLT machines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Handle cashing out procedures efficiently at the end of shifts while managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all aspects of bar operations.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by supporting nightclub or event activities when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in dining establishments, nightclubs, or bar settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Must have OLCC and Oregon Food handlers license
• Experience in food industry roles including catering, food service, or retail environments is advantageous.

Pay: $15.05 - $22.00 per hour
