Responsibilities
- Evaluate, install, repair, and maintain sewer lines, drains, and plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and modify piping systems
- Safely handle and transport materials and equipment to support construction activities
- Inspect systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages; diagnose mechanical failures using plumbing system knowledge
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work meets project specifications and safety standards
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning; read schematics and follow technical drawings accurately
- Support remodeling projects by installing fixtures or reconfiguring existing plumbing systems as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Perform regular maintenance on company vehicles and equipment; communicate with management when repairs are needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in construction, with a focus on plumbing installation and repair
- Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, including pipe threading, assembly, welding, joining, and system adjustments
- Proficiency in using hand tools (wrenches, pliers), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment such as threading machines and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans is preferred but not required; candidates without this experience may still qualify if they meet other requirements
- Familiarity with remodeling processes and general handyman skills to support various project needs
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely while maintaining attention to detail in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and installation planning
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites; experience in construction or related fields is highly preferred
- 3 years of experience as a service and repair plumber
Pay: $10,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month
