Quality Assurance Engineer

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing of web and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance through comprehensive testing strategies. Experience with AI-enabled test automation tools and frameworks is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Perform thorough manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
• Test web applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test results, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Validate deployments and participate in release readiness activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in manual testing of web and enterprise applications.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted or AI-enabled test automation tools.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and test management tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and DevOps practices.
• Continuously improve software quality processes, testing effectiveness, and overall product reliability by applying industry best practices, prior project experience, and lessons learned from previous releases and defect trends
