Receiving Clerk
Main duties will include
Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, resolving any discrepancies
Communicate with suppliers to monitor pricing, terms, and resolve issues
Monitor and control costs through effective price checking
Generate receiving reports for daily deliveries
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Communicate with various departments to keep them updated on deliveries and delays of supplies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certification or coursework is a plus)
Proven experience in purchasing, receiving, or inventory management preferred
Familiarity with procurement software and inventory control systems (Adaco - Fourth System)
Proficiency in Microsoft excel is preferred in this position
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of hospitality industry purchasing practices is preferred
