We are looking for a PBX Operator to join our outstanding Front Office team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a professional and polished telephone manner, and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. They must demonstrate strong multitasking skills, as this role involves handling internal and external calls, guest requests, and coordination with various hotel departments. Previous hotel or customer service experience is highly desired, and knowledge of a luxury environment is a plus.
Answer all incoming calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Direct calls and messages accurately to guests and hotel departments.
Assist guests with wake-up calls, in-room requests, and general information.
Communicate guest needs effectively to the appropriate departments.
Monitor emergency lines and follow established hotel procedures.
Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all interactions, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Previous PBX, call center, or hotel front office experience preferred.
Clear, professional speaking voice and strong listening skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer and telephone system skills.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must have valid work authorization in the U.S. (The Setai does not provide assistance with work visas or authorization).
