TITLE: Administrative/Marketing Assistant
BUSINESS UNIT: Administration
CLASSIFICATION: Part-time, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager
SUMMARY:
Provides assistance for team members and customers to ensure cohesive marketing and administrative efforts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Practical knowledge/use of Microsoft Office suite products and Adobe Creative suite products required. Previous administrative or marketing experience preferred but not required.
Licenses/Certifications: None
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
· Courteous and efficient facilitation of telephone calls and walk-in lobby traffic.
· Coordinate with internal and external parties to manage shipping and tracking for Sales and Marketing team.
· Pack, move, and organize tradeshow materials and communicate logistics to the team and relevant stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Operates telephone system to facilitate internal messages and telephone transfers seamlessly.
- Greets customers and guests to the office, ensuring they are connected to the appropriate staff.
- Performs simple clerical duties as directed.
- Creates and prints marketing materials, fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as necessary or requested.
- Sorts and routes mail to the appropriate individuals. Sends out UPS packages.
- Receives incoming packages, logs, and distributes packages to recipients.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. with assistance
- Possess outgoing, friendly personality, positive attitude, and outstanding customer service skills.
- Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Possess careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage high volumes and multitask with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to collaborate with all team members and work independently.
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral.
