Job Summary
The Serve is looking for superstar Bartenders to join our vibrant food and beverage team! The Serve F&B team impacts all aspects of our business…the Restaurant and Café, Bar and Lounge, Pickleball Courts and Topgolf Swing Suite bays, outdoor patio area, and special events with onsite catering. As key members of our hospitality team, our Bartenders are responsible for ensuring our guests feel welcome and valued, being knowledgeable about our menus and specials, know our bar menu but also be able to provide recommendations, and providing attentive and enthusiastic service to our guests. Guests at The Serve eat and drink in all areas, and our Bartenders are expected to work as a team to maintain an optimal guest experience at all times. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality and mixology skills while working in a dynamic and fun environment!
Duties
- Greet guests and make them feel welcome at The Serve
- Provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding our menus
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast, ensuring all details are noted
- Prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest needs throughout their visit, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle all transactions accurately and securely using Toast handheld
- Assist with F&B needs that arise, such as bussing tables in the bar area, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bar service in a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS System
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally
- Experience or familiarity with food handling, drink preparation, and sanitation practices is highly desirable
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures in the food industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $55.00 per hour
