The Sentinel-Record is looking for a confident, high-energy on-camera personality to become the face of our digital content.
This role is built for someone who thrives in front of a camera, connects easily with people, and can represent a trusted news brand in both serious and lighthearted moments.
- THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. MUST WORK OUT OF OUR OFFICE IN HOT SPRINGS, ARKANSAS.
What You’ll Do:
Host Facebook Live broadcasts and special event coverage
Conduct on-camera interviews with local newsmakers and community leaders
Create engaging short-form videos and reels for social media
Deliver breaking news updates and feature content on camera
Represent The Sentinel-Record at community events
What We’re Looking For:
Outgoing, “never meets a stranger” personality
Extremely comfortable and natural on camera
Strong communication and interviewing skills
Ability to shift seamlessly between hard news and lighter content
Professional presence with a relatable, authentic style
Self-starter who can generate content ideas and execute them
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience in broadcasting, journalism, or digital media
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
Basic video production or editing knowledge
