We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Med Room Supervisor to lead medication management and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the medication room
- Ensure accurate and timely medication administration
- Supervise and support med techs and care staff
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility policies
- Conduct audits and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacy providers
- Train and mentor staff on medication procedures and best practices
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medication administration required
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of NYS regulations and medication protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid certifications as required (HHA/PCA/Med Tech or equivalent)
