Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year
The Sentinel of Amsterdam is seeking an experienced, energized, and mission-driven Director of Community Relations to lead our outreach, community engagement, and referral development efforts. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving census growth, strengthening relationships with community partners, and showcasing the exceptional care we provide.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing and outreach strategy
Build and maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior centers, physicians, and community organizations
Conduct tours, follow-ups, and admissions coordination to support census goals
Lead community events, open houses, and educational programs to increase visibility
Manage advertising initiatives, digital campaigns, and branding efforts
Track and analyze referral sources, trends, and conversion metrics
Represent The Sentinel of Amsterdam with professionalism, compassion, and integrity
Qualifications
2–4 years of marketing, outreach, or sales experience (healthcare, senior care, or human services preferred)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet goals
Familiarity with assisted living regulations and referral networks is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
