What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Executive Director Assisted Living position at The Sentinel of Amsterdam?

Seeking an assistant administrator to join our team and help the ensure quality resident care and compliance as per the DOH and the DOL.

Qualifications Requirements:
Candidate needs to have a high school degree or equivalency, and prior experience in healthcare with either geriatric, substance abuse or persons with disabilities.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic computer skills required. The ability to utilize basic computer software integral to agency operations after initial training period and multi-tasking capability is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Assist in the oversight of the management and operations of the facility, including environmental, dietary etc.

Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by facility staff to ensure compliance and resident satisfaction while ensuring adequate staff education, training, and evaluation.
Help to mentor and support the team and grow the facility by keeping abreast of industry and community trends and referral opportunities.
Ensure that positions needed are posted and resumes that are being sent in are being vetted and scheduled for interviews in a timely manner.

Apply their entrepreneurial and relationship-building skills and lead a caring, professional team that is instrumental in providing the highest quality care to our residents and the community at large.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Salary 55k to 65k

1 weekend day per week is required. Flexibility is a must
