The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring providers are effectively configured within Epic and supported during their transition into clinical workflows. This individual will also contribute to broader clinical initiatives and provide hands-on support to care teams in real-time environments.
Daily Responsibilities
- Support onboarding of new providers, including Epic customization and setup
- Provide at-the-elbow support for providers during initial days in clinic and inpatient settings
- Assist with Epic workflow optimization across inpatient and ambulatory environments
- Round with providers, nurses, and other clinicians to assess needs and provide support
- Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving workflow efficiency and user adoption
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT/Epic teams
- Strong experience with Epic, specifically:
- Inpatient provider workflows
- Nursing workflows
- Ambulatory workflows
- Ability to support provider onboarding and workflow customization
- Experience working directly with clinicians in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide hands-on, in-person support
- Experience with Epic Behavioral Health module
- Experience with Epic OpTime
- Clinical background (RN, clinician, respiratory therapist, rad tech or similar)
