What You'll Do
- Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals navigating recovery.
- Use your personal recovery experience to guide, motivate, and empower others.
- Assist clients in developing individualized recovery goals and accessing needed resources.
- Collaborate with clinical and care teams to ensure well-rounded support.
- Advocate for client needs and promote recovery-oriented thinking.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
- Certified as a CRPA or CRPA-P in New York State
- Lived experience with substance use and currently in sustained recovery
- Genuine passion for supporting others in their recovery journey
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
