What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler position at The Secant Group, LLC?
What we are looking for:The Production Scheduler plays a critical role in the planning and daily monitoring of the production plan, ensuring that safety, quality and inventory objectives are met. Works cross-functionally with other supply chain team members to ensure with other departments to maximize operational effectiveness and profitability. Ensures that scheduling and manufacturing have all information and tools to meet production goals correctly, efficiently, and on-time.What will you do:Interface with production, warehouse personnel, engineering, purchasing, maintenance, customer service, and quality control departments to ensure timely scheduling procedures are achieved.Collaborates with the planning team to ensure short term capacity requirements are met.Generates all Production Work Order & Documentation required for the MFG floor.Ensures the production schedule within a 2-4 week window is on track and in execution.Collaborates with the Warehouse team to ensure materials/labels are staged and ready according to the production schedule.Assists personnel in solving scheduling work issues.Recommends measures to improve the schedule operation.Creates folders using system generated labels, prints and inserts required forms, specifications and completing the appropriate documentation.Monitors Jobs and lets Manufacturing know when Retentions are required on new builds or if any significant changes have been madeMonitors planned DA’s and requests prior to turning over folders to operations.Reviews raw material shortages and works with procurement and incoming quality on prioritization.Is involved in cycle counts or annual inventory as needed. Must be able to work extended hours as required.Who you are:High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Possess basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Basic understanding of GMP and working within FDA regulated industries preferred.Intermediate computer skills including ability to use MS Outlook and automated manufacturing and quality systems. Salary : $135,000
