Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Stock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including counters, storage areas, and service stations
- Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, juices, and bar setup/breakdown
- Remove used glassware and barware in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure ice bins are consistently filled and maintained
- Support timely service by anticipating bartender and guest needs
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the bar at all times
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed
- Uphold resort and Forbes Travel Guide standards of service, professionalism, and presentation
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Previous barback, food & beverage, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
- Indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat and humidity
- Fast-paced, guest-focused hospitality setting
