What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Walker/Pet Sitter position at The Scruffy Puppy Dog Walking & Pet Sitting...?
"Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters : (Please read the entire post to be considered) Seeking walkers and sitters in the Colts Neck and surrounding areas, to help with daily dog walks /or vacation care clients up to 4 times daily / or overnights if available. All work is "offered" to sitters with availability. If you accept the jobs, you must be there!!
* Must have experience with walking large sized dogs and be ok if they pull a bit on the leash or jump on you. We don't walk dogs that are unmanageble on the leash, or aggressive.
-Pay is per walk/visit, plus any tips. The more work you can take on, the more money you make. This is considered part time work , the more reliable and available you are, the more work you are offered as it comes in.
*Work independently, and get paid to spend time with our furry friends while getting your steps in!!!
-21* years or older
-Must be 100 % reliable and trustworthy.
-Attention to detail and following client instructions is necessary for this position.
-We work in ALL weather conditions as pets still need care regardless.
-Must live within our service area. We cover Middletown , Hazlet, Holmdel, Colt Neck, Little Silver ,,Matawan, Atlantic Highlands, Redbank, and surrounding areas, and all in between.
-Must have a working smart phone, and a very reliable car and a drivers license.
-Must provide references, and a background check.
-Must be ok with driving from home to home within our service area to care for pets as needed multiple times daily.
-Pet sitting visits include: walking dogs or backyard playtime, picking up poop, giving meds, cleaning pet messes in the house, cleaning dirty butts if needed, playing with cats and small furry friends, scooping litter pans, cleaning cages, washing food/water dishes and cleaning up spills of food, or litter etc.
