Job Overview
The Scrub Buddies is a growing, locally owned home-services company serving Brunswick and Horry Counties. We provide a wide range of services including cleaning, landscaping, pressure washing, light handyman work, and property upkeep for residential and short-term rental properties.
We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated Entry-Level General Service Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and learning multiple trades in a fast-growing company. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple services in a growing home service business, with opportunities to build skills and grow long term with The Scrub Buddies.
Duties
- Support landscaping, pressure washing, and property maintenance projects
- Assist with residential and commercial cleaning services
- Load/unload materials and tools
- Follow job instructions and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional, respectful attitude with clients
- Work as part of a team and independently when needed
- Manage cash handling transactions when applicable with professionalism and accuracy
- Utilize Jobber and other applications for documentation and correspondence.
- Analyze client feedback and service data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Trustworthy, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Must pass basic background screening
- Proven experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse clients
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple priorities
- Previous experience with cash handling is preferred but not required
- Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a broader client base
