Position Summary:
Will assist with supporting the operation of various analytical and sorting cytometers and assist research staff with analyzing experimental samples. Will work with research staff to schedule and sort samples; maintain instruments to ensure proper operation; sterilize equipment; perform general lab maintenance; maintain monthly data; assist research staff on additional projects as required; and other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned..
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science or related scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. While no experience is required, up to 1 year related experience is preferred. Must have experience with basic bench work in a Biology laboratory; proficiency with computers (including Mac & PC); and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: Flow-cytometry experience.

Compensation: $20.07-$25.06 per hour budgeted hiring range.
