What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at The Scoular Company?
We are seeking a Material Handler - Night Shift to join The Scoular Company. This individual will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and handling materials at our Goodland Crush facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks and railcars in a safe manner
- Following sampling and weighing procedures
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and daily logs
- Performing minor maintenance and assisting with plant operations
- Training team members and following all safety and sanitation guidelines
About the Ideal Candidate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Ability to operate machinery and work with computer systems
- Comfortable working in dusty and noisy environments
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work at heights above 4 feet
- Able to follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Willingsness to work 12-hour rotating shifts which include nights and weekends
