Overview
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort is seeking a fast-paced individual to join the Housekeeping Department! The Office Coordinator position combines administrative duties with guest customer service and internal dispatch needs.
Responsibilities
- Answer Houskeeping office telephones, radios, and e-mails
- Obtain guest requests throughout the resort and dispatch to appropriate team member to complete
- Manage Room Attendant boards and ensure daily completion of all work
- Coordinate resort arrivals and departures with entire Housekeeping team
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all resort departments for Housekeeping needs
- Work closely with the Front Office Department securing rooms for VIP arrivals, expedited service requests, and custom guestroom need
Qualifications
- Bi-lingual communication in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
- Previous hotel and/or Houskeeping experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook
- Computer proficiency in hotel PMS preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organized individual with high degree of professionalism
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
