The base salary range for this full-time position is base bonus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. They collaborate across teams to standardize practices, monitor adherence, manage documentation, and provide insights that strengthen operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. This role demands advanced communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an aptitude for project management.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, draft, research, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with organizational goals, address operational concerns and strengthen risk management and compliance.
- Oversee the full policy lifecycle, including development, approval, communication, enforcement, evaluation, archiving, and retirement.
- Develop and enforce robust policies by analyzing past incidents, identifying emerging risks and evolving challenges, and implementing strategies to mitigate exposures across the organization.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve policies to ensure alignment with changing regulations, industry standards, compliance requirements, and long-term strategic goals.
- Collaborate with policy owners and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organization-wide standardization, resolve obstacles, and ensure consistent execution in daily operations.
- Conduct research using multiple formats to support policy development and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for organizational processes, systems operations, and third-party software.
- Establish and manage recordkeeping practices to ensure policy integrity, accessibility, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation retention.
- Educate and communicate with team members regarding new and existing policies
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify compliance gaps, provide actionable recommendations, and reduce organizational risk.
- Manage and optimize the Intranet and Learning & Development pages to streamline workflows, enhance user experience, and improve access to policies and resources.
- Prepare reports and provide leadership with insights on compliance trends, risk exposure, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We Require
- 1-3 years of corporate business experience
- Previous experience in policy creation and compliance understanding
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven advanced communication and problem-solving skills
- Advanced reading proficiency, ability to identify and examine the details
- Strong project and time management skills
- Mature interpersonal approach and strong collaboration skills
- Analytical and resourceful mindset
- Job location is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
