Afterschool / Flex Teacher needed (part-time)
The Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington immediately seeks a part-time Afterschool/ Flex Teacher for preschool-8th grade students in our nature- and play-based program. Candidates should enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in all weather, exploring, and teaching children about the natural world, as well as supporting a social-justice focused curriculum. This position is approximately 28 - 30 hours per week and spreads across all programs. It's a great opportunity to hone your skills with all ages! Job Qualifications:
- Some experience working with young children is preferred; we will train the right candidate.
- High School diploma required.
- Teachers must attend 15 hours of professional development training in early childhood education each year (this is paid time), and obtain certification in First Aid/CPR.
