Schochet is currently hiring a Leasing Consultant
Country Glen Apartments is a 300 unit market-rate apartment community located in Groton, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Show available apartment units to prospective residents and process move-ins
- Conduct resident orientations and unit inspections
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings and competitors
- Prepare brochures and marketing materials for potential renters
- Support the Property Manager with office tasks such as answering phones, filing, creating newsletters, logging maintenance issues, and assisting residents
- Handle paperwork for prospective and current residents
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior leasing and sales experience required
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Motivated self-starter who can work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent organizational, proofreading, and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and stay composed under pressure
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
