Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
- Use a POS system such as Toast for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying guest IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or banquet settings with a strong track record of excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in POS systems Toast is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling, and responsible alcohol serving regulations.
- Strong skills in sales techniques and upselling beverages to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment with retail math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends (Tuesday - Saturday)
