Qualifications
Personnel Specifications:
H.S. graduate required. Must have a current driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. necessary.
Skills Needed:
Good organization and time management skills required. Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity is a must.
Essential Functions:
1. Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational programs and activities for residents.
2. Drive the activity van.
3. Foster a sense of community within the residence.
4. Maintain activity attendance records for each resident including a Resident Trip Log and a Resident Van Use Log.
5. Take part in required in-service education.
6. Observe infection control procedures related to the Activity Program.
7. Be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
8. Always follow Residents’ Rights policies.
9. Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
10. Observe all facility safety policies and procedures.
11. Perform other related duties as directed by the Activities Director and Executive Director.
12. Transport and assist residents during weekly shopping and medical appointment trips.
13. Maintain, in a binder to be carried on van trips, an up-to-date copy of every resident’s medical emergency information sheet.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
