What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant position at The Sayer Law Group?
We are looking for an Office Assistant/Legal Assistant to prepare drafts for filing/recording, communicate with clients, attorneys and court staff. You should have excellent communication and a strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Drafting documents for attorney review
- Data entry, proofreading
- Updating the client in a client system or other means.
- File documents with the court/ county.
- Updating internal case management systems
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
Skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Patience and ability to manage stress
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented -Attention to detail
- Previous administrative/legal assistant, or office experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
